Andrew Scott Holmes is an experienced attorney with a long career in legal services. He is currently the owner of ASH Legal Services, a position he has held since 2014. Before that, he was a partner at Holland & Knight from 2005 to 2014, and of counsel at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, LLP from 1995 to 2005. He also held an of counsel position at Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon from 1981 to 1995.
Holmes is a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and the Bar Association of the City of New York. He earned his LLB from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1981 and his AB from Princeton University in 1977.
Throughout his career, Holmes has participated in several speaking engagements, including conferences on aviation aircraft engine leasing and aircraft registration, where he discussed topics such as aircraft engine default/repossession and legal opinions for aviation transactions. He has also published articles in the New York Law Journal and the Virginia Journal of International Law, focusing on topics such as utility allowance trading and foreign arbitral awards.
Fluent in both English and French, Holmes brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his legal practice.
