Charlie D. Soto is a founder of the Law Office of Charlie D. Soto. Charlie focuses his practice on civil litigation with a concentration on landlord-tenant disputes, family and uncontested divorces. He counsels clients on civil, housing, family, and contractual matters. Prior to starting his own practice, Charlie was a co-founder of CSVK, LLP and worked at a boutique law firm, representing a high volume of clients and taking the lead on multiple matters simultaneously.
He is an experienced litigator and has appeared before the New York City Civil Courts and New York State Supreme Courts representing clients on a variety of issues ranging from landlord-tenant disputes to illegal narcotic holdovers. Charlie manages his cases from discovery through verdict. His track record of success extends past the courtroom as he has zealously represented clients in negotiations thereby resolving issues before trial.
Charlie is an advocate for diversity in the legal profession. He is an active member of Le-GAL, where he serves on the Small Firm Committee. Additionally, Charlie devotes a considerable amount of time contributing to the “pipeline to the legal profession” initiative by mentoring minority students of all grade levels, from high school freshman to law students.
Charlie received his B.A. from Florida Atlantic University, where he graduated Cum Laude. He received his J.D. from New York Law School, where he served as President of the Latin American Law Students’ Association, and a member of the Student Bar Association.
