My name is David Centeno and I was born and raised in New York City. Today, I am proud to serve as a divorce and family law attorney for people like you, throughout New York State. I use my experience to help you get through your NY divorce, which can be a very stressful time.
I am not just a NY divorce lawyer — I am a NY family man. As a husband and father, I know and appreciate the value of family. I understand what you have at stake and will work hard to protect you and your family through this highly emotional legal process.
After graduating from New York University, I attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, located in New York City. I obtained my Juris Doctorate from Cardozo and was admitted to practice law that same year. I concentrate on a variety of divorce and family law issues.

Mr. Centeno maintained frequent communication that kept me informed at every step of the process. Given the transatlantic complications, he worked efficiently with a supportive demeanor and helped find solutions to the US Embassy’s bureaucracy. Mr. Centeno’s fees were more than fair, especially for an attorney based in NYC. He has state wide reach which can be very advantageous in conducting a speedy process. His paralegal staff Holly and Mimi were terrific. They answered every question promptly and showed true professionalism. I recommend David Centeno without hesitation.

February 3, 2025 at 6:54 pmCannot say enough about this firm. Expedited uncontested divorce was final in 41 days from the time I picked up the phone to have my consult with David. His staff Holly and Mimi were unbelievable in communication and responded to emails within the same day. Would have been even quicker but I took an extra couple days to have the now ex-spouse review documents. Not that I wish a divorce on anyone but you cannot beat the speed and efficiency of this firm if that circumstance arises. Highly recommend!!!
