This attorney is an experienced legal professional with a long history of serving the community, particularly in programs focused on access to justice. Since 2009, they have been a partner at SINGH & RANI, LLP, and since 2014, they have been the supervising attorney for the Volunteer Lawyer for the Day Program with the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program. They have received several honors, including recognition from the Sikh American Chamber of Commerce in 2015 for their valuable contribution to the Sikh community, and from Access to Justice in 2013 for their outstanding work in the Housing Court’s VLFD Program.
Educated at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, they earned their Juris Doctor (JD) in 2008. They are fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and English, allowing them to serve a diverse client base. Active in professional legal associations, they have been a member of both the Queens County Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association since 2012. Additionally, their achievements include an award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy in 2008 from the Center For Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction, as well as being honored by Chhaya CDC for celebrating a decade of progress in 2010.
