Catherine M. Stanton

Catherine Stanton is a senior partner at Pasternack Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP in New York, where she leads the workers’ compensation department. With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Stanton is a recognized authority in the field. She graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University in 1986 and earned her law degree from the College of William and Mary in 1989.

Ms. Stanton joined the firm in 1990, becoming a partner in 1998. She has held leadership roles in prominent legal organizations, serving as President of WILG (Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group) from 2012-2013 and as the past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section for the American Association for Justice.

Locally, Ms. Stanton is a director for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and a past president of the Society of New York Workers Compensation’ Bar Association. She currently serves as Vice President of the Brehon Law Society of Nassau County, focusing on human rights and civil liberties, particularly in Northern Ireland.
