I needed someone I could rely on and Belkin was always a phone call away. Over time, I grew to trust his deep knowledge of the judicial system and exceptional ability to network and navigate within it. For instance, he was familiar with members of the court, in direct, frequent contact with various ADAs and updated me on their deliberations. Belkin also encouraged me to participate in seeking solutions while keeping me on track with the reality of what we had power over and mandates that were out of our control. I worked on establishing proof of alibi and suggested subpoena sources while he worked to uncover and challenge discovery evidence. While a pinky ring could symbolize a jaunty allusion to the powers at play, Kenneth Belkin’s savvy style is a trademark of confidence rightfully earned from being proficient in every aspect of his job. I am forever grateful for his guidance, sharp insight and tireless dedication that ultimately led to my case being dismissed.
