Troy is one of the most experienced and respected 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund attorneys in the United States. He is a Founding Partner of Hansen & Rosasco, LLP, a New York law firm that handles only 9/11 claims. He has been representing 9/11 victims and 9/11 first responders since 2001.
Troy is known for his compassionate and fierce advocacy on behalf of 9/11victims at the federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. To date, his firm has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for his 9/11 clients. Many of his 9/11 clients are still getting diagnosed with 9/11 related cancers to this day. Troy and his firm handle 9/11 claims for citizens nation-wide given the fact that many have since moved out of the New York or Pentagon areas.
Troy is an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law where he has taught about the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund and the World Trade Center Health Program. He regularly gives Continuing Legal Education lectures to other attorneys about the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. He has been interviewed by ABC News, the BBC, the New York Times, the New York Law Journal, and the NY Daily News. He continues to work tirelessly with 9/11 advocacy groups in Congress and charities to benefit victims of 9/11.
